We believe that everyone deserves to indulge in a mouthwatering treat, and our products are created with that philosophy in mind. We are dedicated to providing a wide range of options, ensuring that no one feels deprived or left out. At Tranquil Tummy, we are committed to using high-quality ingredients and innovative techniques to create delectable treats without compromising on taste or texture.
Who's the Baker?
Hi there! I'm Samantha, but you can call me Sam. I'm the founder of Tranquil Tummy Confections in South Haven, Michigan, established in 2021. My goal is to offer delicious treats for everyone, accommodating various dietary needs, including gluten and dairy-free options, along with vegan and allergen-friendly choices. My passion for baking resurfaced during the lockdown in 2020 after battling with gastroparesis, inspiring me to restart my baking journey. Now, with a growing business, I'm dedicated to serving the community from a commercial kitchen, with recent recognition from the South West Michigan Regional Chamber of Commerce. I founded Tranquil Tummy Confections with the intention of providing delicious treats for individuals with dietary restrictions. However, my commitment to giving back extends far beyond catering to specific dietary needs. Since starting the business in 2021, I have consistently supported various local food pantries through regular donations. In 2023 alone, I am proud to have contributed nearly $1300 worth of baked goods to organizations such as Ladders of Hope Food Pantry, Hope Resources Inc., and Loaves and Fishes Kalamazoo. In addition to these contributions, I have also provided baked goods to Sylvia's Place, a women's shelter in Allegan, MI, for their annual Fall Fest Auction Fundraiser, as well as to the Al-Van Humane Society in South Haven, MI. I firmly believe in the importance of giving back to those in need, and I am always eager to lend a helping hand to other charitable organizations whenever possible.

I currently offer products that are made with gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, soy-free and/or peanut-free, ingredients. Everything I offer is, at minimum, gluten and dairy-free. I also offer products that are low-fodmap, paleo friendly or sugar-free.
Currently, I do not. Meaning, that when I am not working, gluten, dairy, soy, peanut corn, and/or treenut products may be present. However, I am servsafe certified and practice rigorous cleaning regimens that are up to standard with Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association.
Right now I take orders through social media and email. I am currently on Facebook and Instagram. Online ordering will be coming soon!
